Merlin’s Roofing Company is an established family business with over 20 years of metal roofing experience. We are proudly located in Chelsea, Québec and provide services to Western Québec and the Ottawa Valley areas.
Our skilled crew members use and create quality products to match their work and ensure every roof installed will last for many generations. Our clients have peace of mind knowing that our team provides great communication, and exceptional service right from the first meeting to years after a roof is completed, and through the warranties we offer.
Merlin’s Roofing Co. specializes in the installation of Standing Seam Metal Roofing. We are also proud to offer Exposed Fastener Metal Roofing, Roof Repairs, European Gutters and Snow Guards installations as well as Roofing Inspections. Much of the materials used are manufactured by Merlin’s Roofing Co for accuracy to meet specific job needs and provide clients with the comforting knowledge of security and safety.
Owner, Merlin O’Brecht, started building his skills and passion for this specialty craft by watching and working alongside his Dad from a very young age. The learning and the desire to create something of excellence hasn’t stopped.
We work to revive the lost techniques from the ages of real tinsmiths, artisans and metal roofers, where the magic of folding and bending metal is all you had to rely on to keep things water-tight; no caulking, flex seal or tar needed. We are always working to expand on traditional ideas with modern materials and innovative approaches.
With our mix of experience, older artisan craftsmanship and modern technology, we have become the go-to experts for anything involving Metal Roofing.

Merlin has built Merlin’s Roofing into a multi-crew Metal Roofing team that has highly skilled staff. We use artisan methods and manufacture our own Standing Seam Metal Roofing panels, ensuring your Roof will last generations.

We provide an extensive 40-year material warranty and a 25-year installation warranty on your metal roofing project.
